- Introduction:
- "I've been running games for about 30 years. I started in diced games D&D, RuneQuest, DragonQuest, GURPS, etc. Back in college/med school I switched to rules light, freeform and diceless gaming. I would really like to find some good players."

Hey all, just wanted to let you know the D&D Meet-Up on May 10 will be featuring folks from Talisman Studios (publishers of the the Suzerain RPG I mentioned earlier, as well as a Savage Worlds campaign setting called Shaintar). They're a neatly little RPG company doing some really cool stuff and keeping it low-priced for us!

My Suzerain review is currently posted in a thread over at the Paizo forums (http://paizo.c om/paizo/messag eboards/communi ty/gaming/other RPGs/suzerainFr omTalismanStudi osAnybodyPlayed It). I've also submitted it as an official RPGnet review, but it'll be a bit before it's processed and posted.
Side note, the Savage Worlds demo game tonight went great! We couldn't stay at Legions due to a conflicting Pokemon tournament, but met offsite and played a good 5 hours or so...

I have run/played D&D, Palladium, White Wolf, Rollmaster, etc. I am usually game for just about anything that sounds interestin, while fantasy is my bread and butter. As far as systems, I am currently in love with Savage Worlds. I will be using it for just about everything. but I am always on the lookout for something new and different.

It's fairly new--just came out last Fall. It's by Talisman Studios and they've got several supporting products out now, plus some really cool stuff coming in the future. I actually noticed the lack of a review and so am working on one now. I've posted half of it on the Talisman forums and am aiming to finish it up tonight to post around. The link is:

I'm interested in all sorts, really. For the truly "corner case" systems Suzerain is currently my favorite. I'm starting a foray into Savage Worlds now as well. Beyond that, Spirit of the Century looks like something I'd like to check out...
