Man it's be a while.



Gotta question, Everyone heard of Playoncon? It's a another convention in Birmingham it's suppose to be for gamers.

The dates are July 3-6-08

Location is the Birmingham Airport Hotel.


I'm not to sure about this one guys, but I've e-mail then for information and about running some magic tourneys up there.

It took a while for them to get back to me when I emailed a few months ago. I think their plans are not nearly as ambitious as Omegacon but may have as much table top gaming since this is their focus. I look forward to seeing you there.

I was just emailed by Greg Glidden the Gaming Coordinator for PlayOnCon and I will be providing D&D and RPGA events for their convention July 3-6, 2008. I need 3 other good DMs. Anyone interested post reply to me here or at http://pub2.bravenet.... .

There will not be any Magic at this con. Plus all dealer tables are full. The Coffee Stop & Game Shop will not be there for this con.

I was waiting on follow up information regarding the MtG tournament from our organizer. Due to a conflicting event, we will not have a MtG tournament at POC. We are changing gears and are now looking to host Yu-Gi-Oh! and World of Warcraft TCG tournaments.

We may have a big cookout at the Game Shop July 4 weekend. I will get back to you later with more details.

Fred if you need some help setting up like a mini game day/cookout thing at the shop let me know. I'll be happy to run some D&D. The more I see and hear of this Playoncon the more I don't think I'll be joining it after all.
